Dear Guitarist,
Hello! My name is Steven Herron and I'd like to alert you
to an exciting, new service that I've decided to make available to interested guitarists
visiting our website. It is called "The Guitar Lesson Of The Month Club"
and it's absolutely FREE! Here is your chance to let me help you become a more versatile,
confident and knowledgeable guitarist. I've been playing professionally for 37 years and
teaching 50-60 private students a week for 27 of those years. I was also fortunate enough
to study classical guitar with Aaron Shearer at Peabody Conservatory of Music in the early
70's. At this point in my life, due to time restraints, I've decided to retire from
teaching and devote my time to performing as well as overseeing the Chord Melody Guitar
Music website which is growing rapidly.
My only dilemma with retiring from teaching is that I
actually like to teach! Hence, the decision to stay active as a teacher by creating
"The Guitar Lesson of The Month Club". If you decide to become a member, once
every month I will e-mail you a piece of guitar music "hand-picked" from my
personal library of over 2,000 guitar solos. I will also include performance hints and
instructional advice pertinent to that particular piece of music. Each month will focus on
a different style of guitar music. One month we'll do a blues tune, the next month a
classical piece, the next month after that a rock song, etc, etc. This way you'll not only
become a more versatile guitar player quickly, but you'll have some serious fun along the
way! And you'll have my 27 years of teaching experience to guide you.
As the director of the Chord Melody Guitar Music
website, I am in constant contact with publishers of guitar books and videos from all over
the world. As an added bonus, at the end of each lesson I will alert you to any newly
released guitar books or videos that have passed my stringent requirements for content and
quality. You'll always be the first to know about any exciting, new guitar publications -
without having to spend the time trying to find out!
